TRANSFORMATIONS ON A BUDGET! Here’s just a sample of what can be done with a paint and decor updates. IT’S ALL COSMETIC!

What customers are saying: “Thank you so much for your time and expertise helping me with exterior paint colors for the house.  My husband and I have worked with several independent consultants on various projects and it was so refreshing to work with your level of professionalism and skill set.  You are very talented in what you do and you made the process fun and easy.  Thank you!  Karen S. – Tallahassee, FL

“I’ve seen Colleen’s work at a beach home in Florida. Clean design that creates a warm, comfortable feel. Highly recommend.” Ellen F. – Naples, FL

Projects and palettes by Color Choice Consulting.

Before: Builder beige walls, shop light in ceiling & original appliances. The bulky upper cabinet is cutting off coastal views as well as light! This is a “good bones” kitchen simply in need of a “cosmetic lift”

After: Bulkhead & cabinets to left & above window were removed to let in light and create better flow into adjacent dining area. Peninsula now textured with inexpensive bead board & appliances replaced. Lower cabinets painted BM Steel Wool, Uppers in BM Brilliant White. Existing laminate wood floor lend warmth. The star of the show is the glass backsplash!

Glass tiles bounce light around the space. Note how the other fixed elements compliment and do not compete for attention with the backsplash.
Before: Tired yellow pine cabinetry is only enhanced by the bright yellow wall paint. Pink beige laminate countertop looks “dirty” and clashes with the yellow.
After: Kitchen updated with Cambria Quartz (Torquay) countertops, Benjamin Moore White Dove on cabinets. Right corner cabinet ripped out & replaced with open shelving. New undermount sink & pretty faucet finish it off. Timeless & classic. Coral pops of color can be changed out to suit owners mood, but the fixed elements are now timeless and here to stay!
Before: How could anyone get any shut-eye with this bright wall color! Sleigh bed waaayyy too bulky and out of scale for this tiny bedroom space.
After: Soft Benjamin Moore Opal wall color and spindle wrought iron bed that had been sitting in storage for 10 years open up & lighten the space. NOTE: Lamp shade needs to be changed out to a white one. This lamp shade now looks “dirty” in the space.
Before: There must have been a sale on this yellow wall paint. Yellow walls, yellow tone in flooring & furniture all add up to too “hot” a space. Oh, and did I mention this room faces WEST and gets glowing Yellow/Orange sunsets? It looked like the room was on FIRE!!
After: Now soft & serene. Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe on walls calms the space. Table painted BM White Dove. Free chairs were also painted & reupholstered.
Before: Boring beige bath with ’80’s lighting & fixtures. The pine cabinets & laminate flooring clash terribly.
After: Coastal bath. Walls painted Sherwin-Williams Jubilee. Existing pine cabinets painted Benjamin Moore Brilliant White
Before: ’80s small bath with no appeal needed a pick-me-up!
After: Tub replaced with age-in-place friendly walk-in shower and large mosaic glass tile. It’s like a little jewelry box!
Chairs were FREE, but needed freshening up
A fresh coat of BM White Dove & reupholstered seats change EVERYTHING!
